Although more than a decade has passed since that eventful day, life has never been the same again.One of the most profound ways that my life has changed has been in relation to air travel. Unlike in the past when one could board a plane without any restrictions as long as they had the right travel documents, things have changed and today travelling around is a nightmare. Just like most Americans, there are many times when I have been forced to dispose of certain things that were precious to me simply because they could not be allowed in the plane.
